Avery Hill Park Café, London

This small café is situated in the centre of Avery Hill Park.

Designed together with stakeholders including Friends of Avery Hill and Greenwich Council, this café replaces the previous one which was destroyed in a fire.  It is intended to be a community resource with a variety of uses for the public.

IHS was commissioned to design, supply and install a compact 8kW ground source heat pump to control the underfloor heating system.  500m of pipe was installed in 5 surrounding trenches at a depth of 1.2m
